Located in central Hakuba within a local Japanese neighbourhood, only a 5 minute drive to Happo One Resort, & Hakuba 47 Goryu Resort, the Little Blue House is a 3 star homely self-contained accommodation with a terrace overlooking a rice paddy. Equipped with your own kitchen & work-from-home study nook, and a supermarket next door, our guests have everything they need to live like they are at home, like a local. We’ll even provide you with a welcome hamper to get you started.
Featuring free private parking, and a complimentary vehicle, this home is in a local area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking and skiing.

- Konisu Café is Hakuba’s only ski-through cafe. Located at Cortina Resort, at Lift 6 & Lift 2.
- You can visit on your ski day at Cortina Resort (or head out for a drive to enjoy even when not skiing!) on a sunny day.
- Sit outside while taking in the mountain views and enjoying delicious artisan style breads & pastries with barista made coffee. Alcohol is served as well.
- Café open from December 20th – March 20th. Winter months only.

Hakuba is famous for its alpine terrain. If you’re an experienced skier or snowboarder, you have unlimited side & backcountry ski terrain to explore. And lots of this can be reached with lift access!

Spring, Summer and Autumn
Winter not your thing? Come in the green season for mountain biking, paragliding, hiking, supping, canyoning and swimming. Or perhaps a BBQ on the deck, and soaking up the sun. Or casual bike rides around Hakuba.
Hakuba’s cherry blossoms are in bloom late April. Oide Park is the perfect place to enjoy them.
Summer brings the heat, warm nights, fireflies & firework festivals.

Our Story
We love making our guests happy...
Our friendly Australian owners, Mike and Emily, are adventure-seeking travellers and keen skiers and snowboarders who fell in love with Hakuba whilst visiting in 2014. It has remained a very special place in their heart since Mike proposed to Emily in the Hakuba mountains in 2016.
With years of experience in tourism and customer service, they have brought their skills and passions together to bring you a truly lodging experience. This is their home away from home when they are not running the Canopy Cortina Lodge at Hakuba Cortina. Check it out if you want to stay in a seven room lodge which prides itself on offering you quality service and exceptional food in a comfortable and fun environment.
